New Models by Timothy Richards
This is not about stained glass, not even remotely. It is an unashamed plug for some new items in MQGifts, our Amazon-hosted store.
There are several new items but by far the most exciting is a model of the top several stories of the Chrysler Building in New York.
Also noteworthy is a doorway model from the school of architecture at Notre Dame university which would make a fine graduation gift just as the model of the Dexter gate has been to some fortunate Harvard graduates these past several years. Somehow the craftsmanship intrinsic in these models coupled with the use of traditional construction materials makes them perfect choices for graduation gifts.
In time Tim intends to have an appropriate model for each of the main ivy league universities to add to the ones for Harvard and Notre Dame but for law graduates there is another possibility - a model of the US Supreme Court in Washington DC. This model would look beautiful on any lawyer's desk or conference room sideboard - though I must say that in most of the lawyers' offices I have seen all the tabletop space has been covered several times over with piles of papers.
